Scott Ritter was a disgrace in the American uniforum and now a disgrace to America.I honestly believe he's being paid by Saddam to defend him on all the talk shows.

I agree wholeheartedly that something is mega-fishy about Scott Ritter's otherwise inexplicable 180. But the rationale put forth here, doesn't make much sense to me.

much of this doesn't make sense to me either - but the biggest problem is this flip/flop...this is such an obvious issue.

For this scenario to be true, Scott Ritter would have to be one of the best actors in the history of acting. The man has teamed up with radical peaceniks. His 180 could more easily be explained by alien abduction than by conscious CIA manipulation.

In the press conference he gave (aired on C-SPAN 5 times), sponsored by Rep Kucinich, he kept referencing the idea that the inspectors could have done their job if they hadn't been manipulated into acting as spies against Saddam. He appeared quite disturbed by this idea. I was wondering if he had been brainwashed somewhere.

To my mind, the only things that could truly cause a man to trash his own reputation, his honor, and his word as a man, as Scott Ritter has done, are:

1) an enormous sum of money (unlikely) or 2) fear for his own life or the lives of his family.

We have seen how the "power elite" seem to be desperate to keep Saddam propped up (including such "republican" NWO-types as Scowcroft and Eagleburger -- presumably GHWB also). if this perception is really true, it's not hard to imagine the death threats on Ritter to shut up, or better yet, play ball with the Powers that be.

I wonder if Saddam plays some important role in the coming New Order. (The only role I can see is maybe they are hoping he nukes Israel, the one country the NWO will never corrupt or win over.) Just MHO.

I can certainly believe Scott Ritter was and is a CIA asset. I don't understand, however, why the CIA would oppose an attack on Iraq.

I suspect he has been threatened or someone close to him has been. He seems to be trying very hard to not incur the wrath of Sadam. Sad, but thats the most logical explaination of his flip/flop that I can think of.

I watched him on the television line ups during the Clinton fiasco and I have seen his interviews recently which brings me to the conclusion that he is both.

Next time you see Ritter on TV< watch his nostrils, they go crazy when he starts off on these tangents...I read somewhere that that's an indication of lying...
