I agree wholeheartedly that something is mega-fishy about Scott Ritter's otherwise inexplicable 180. But the rationale put forth here, doesn't make much sense to me.

I suspect he has been threatened or someone close to him has been. He seems to be trying very hard to not incur the wrath of Sadam. Sad, but thats the most logical explaination of his flip/flop that I can think of.

I watched him on the television line ups during the Clinton fiasco and I have seen his interviews recently which brings me to the conclusion that he is both.
