PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP -- Anti-abortion activists have launched a small but vocal movement to excommunicate pro-choice Attorney General Jennifer Granholm from the Roman Catholic Church.
Since early June, a group of 10-30 protesters have picketed outside of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Plymouth Township, where the Democratic nominee for governor is a member. Foes say Granholm is a heretic because she is Catholic yet adamantly pro-choice.

Cardinal Maida needs to ban her from making any political or campaign appearances at any Catholic function or entity/parish/school/soup kitchen/youth center etc. and also break his ridiculous silence on the matter. And he needs to severely admonish Father Ortman.

You should write a new chapter for Dante's "Inferno". If you get a draft together maybe we'd have some ideas? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On the other side of a busy Fall, I just might!

Fr. Doc's new statement refuses to address any of these falsehoods. Then and now he says he "reverences" preborn life, yet he claimed three weeks ago that these lies are consistent with his "reverence." Now he says he's against abortion, but three weeks ago he said Catholics defend abortion's legality even while they oppose it. Granholm, Clinton, and Planned Parenthood all claim to be pro-life with the help of these priests' reasoning. He's compounded his original sins with further ones. He has a lot of repenting to do.

SASU? BRAAD?
What do those terms mean, Mr. Khepera, sir?
To: Khepera
Be vocal Christian soldiers. Would some of Khepera's pingers like to join other FReepers in Plymouth, Michigan to boycott the masses at the abortion parish?

The protestors should hand out copies of the Catechism to the candidate and her fellow parishioners. They probably have never read these words.

It is ironic how something as simple as "no killing babies" has to be hard-fought for...should be intuitive, a given, integral to ever-lovin' human nature! And now we have Princeton's 'ethics' professor (Peter Singer) suggesting that kids should be killed if we don't want them up to the age of two. It's not ironic. It's pure evil.
To: Notwithstanding
I have nothing more to say than Cardinal Maida needs to retire immediately (to the Vatican or Disneyworld -- it doesn't matter to me so long as he is gone) and Bishop Britt needs to retire to a monastery deep in the Wadi Kelt in the Holy Land.

These are groups of people who hang together on moral topics such as Abortion and Homosexuality. Kind of a club of sorts to give each other support. The labels are used for identifying topics.
We have been hanging together on FR for some time.

Would some of Khepera's pingers like to join other FReepers in Plymouth, Michigan to boycott the masses at the abortion parish? It is possible some may wish to attend. Due to a lack of funds I will not be able. It is a good cause however.

Mother Teresa taught us to see Jesus in the distressing disguise of the poor. Prof. Peter Singer shows us that the demon also wears distressing disguises.

Ortman sounds an awful lot like Helen Prejean. I doubt he's ever read the Catechism let alone Evangelium Vitae. What's wrong with Sr. Helen. The only thing I know about her is what I saw in the movie, which probably means I don't know much.

To: Siobhan
There is much to be said for the life and works and words of Mother Theresa.
But I'm not sure that being a college professor is much of a disguise for an ultraliberal pro-abortion fanatic!

Since the church is 5 minutes from my house, I might be able to go, not sure though.

Your are far for us but email me directions, someone in charge ,a phone # ,for local prolifers in PA to call and gave a month-unless election is before that-I could use a little article asap for a pro-life paper. The article that begins this thread is the most current I've seen, and relatively open to our side. If you want some good older ones I can give some to you, although others on this thread are more knowledgable about what's out there.
I thought those dueling pastors in the parish bulletins would be the best reading of all. One place you can get bulletins is http://www3.catholicweb.com/bulletins/59371/Aug-04-2002.pdf
Maybe this link will help you with directions, though I don't really know how to link:
