"In all of last year, only one article about Dirkhising appeared in a major mainstream newspaper, the Boston Globe. The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times ignored the incident completely. In the same period, the New York Times published 45 stories about Shepard and the Washington Post published 28. This discrepancy isn't just real. It's staggering."

It isn't just staggering. It's a press campaign, intended to batter us to our knees. So to speak.

Thanks for the post of the Bozell article, he finds some good illustrations of the massive bias of mainstream media at work.

In another article about the Dirkhising incident, Bozell recalled finally cornering a mainstream editor (from the WashPo, IIRC) and cross-examining him about why they spiked the Dirkhising story. The lame, but utterly revealing, answer given up at length: "It doesn't resonate." (Emphasis added)

Which just about said it all.

BTTT.

It's because they are moral cowards who don't want to deal with the flaming and virulent hatred from the homosexual activist community. Same with the bishops in the Catholic Church. They're afraid of taking heat like the Boy Scouts has had the courage to do.
