The Pope answers to a higher power. It's refreshing to hear/see that someone in authority, when pushed to the edge, will finally make the right/moral decision. Not only will the liberals and homos scream bigotry and homophobe, but the pyschiatric associations will criticize the church for not being "with the times" even though 20 years ago their text books said the same thing.

I agree, the last thing I would want for a church is for it to be "with the times". To me, the current permissiveness toward deviant "priest sexuality" is a direct result of appeasement to contemporary ideals.
