I filed this under crime becasue it's criminal what the NYT does on it's pages......
As THE GREATEST tabloid in the country, NYT is perfect.....as a source of unbiased news it has become a dismal failure.....and the saddest thing is they don't even realize it's happening......
These pompus fools still actually belive they are the paper of record, not the paper of birdcages and puppy dogs, (who are slowly becoming the most prolific users......)
Everytime I hear some news clown reference, "...the NYT said today..." I and the wide expanse of America turn the station......
Yet these out of touch propagandists still kiss each other's butts and praise themselves as if anyone under 70 still cares what they say......
No one on the internet belives a word you say, and as they age, your readership will go away, (as many of us wish you would......)

Only if you don't care about your pet bird. Parrots that chew sometimes get a hold of the cage liner and the ink can make them sick since their livers aren't as good at processing toxins. And I wouldn't want my bird even looking at the nonsense it is dumping on. I'm not home all day to filter the ultra-liberal nonsense.
As for them being the 'paper of record'... sadly, they continue to be so. As Rush would teach you, most news on the networks' nightly news are there because the NYT and/or Wash. Post had them in the morning. This not likely to change but they may lose audience/readership.
I, personally, don't read newspapers because they are dirty (full of ink), smell and are the by-products of tree-killing.
