I am not enthusiastic about going to war with Saddam while we are still trying to stomp out the Taliban and unable to get our Moslem allies to help. No, I don't want to wait until Saddam has "The Bomb" - but I think it's very odd that these various experts have decided that he will get one by Xmas even though they don't know, without those inspections, what and where his armament is now.

There will never be a smoking gun, just a smoking mushroom cloud. Are you willing to risk New York's financial district becoming radioactive for the next 50 years. Saddam already has a track record of jerking around weapons inspectors. The stakes just could not be higher. I mean, how could anyone be willing to accept Saddam's word even one more time, when the stakes are that high.
