Voters who have been cursing Elections Supervisor Miriam Oliphant since the chaotic Sept. 10 primary will be happy to know they are now giving her a raise.
"You must be kidding," says George Kaplan, one of the many in Broward County who say they are outraged by Oliphant's conduct before, during and after the primary.
Oliphant's salary was hiked this week -- from $122,446 to $125,963. She can thank a state formula that automatically increases the pay of many elected officials annually.

The author, Buddy Nevins, is about the only person on the Sun-Sentinel staff who tells it like it is -- and it's pretty bad. New Jersey doesn't have a shot at overtaking South Florida in Dem lunacy, though NJ may lead slightly in the corruption category. (Known corruption, that is.)

Read the rest of the articles, it is too sad to be true but it is. The Democratic machine in Florida has been taken over by the unions. (The teachers unions has nothing to do with teachers) A nonpartisan judge candidate, who lost, has take over McBride's broward opperations.
