Jones has a distinct blue-gray skin color, the result of taking too much of an anti-bacterial form of pure silver.
GREAT FALLS, Montana (AP) -- Montana's Libertarian candidate for Senate has turned blue from drinking a silver solution that he believed would protect him from disease.

Everybody's blue on the Mothership.
To: ContentiousObjector
Didn't LeAnn Rimes write a song about him?
To: ContentiousObjector
He should use this to his advantage with a campaign slogan akin to "I'm gonna hold my breath until we do away with the Income Tax!"

Oh Great. Just what the LP needs - more wackos. I thought it was hard being a Republican what with all the lame-brained dopes in my party. And now as a card-carrying LP'er I get to have Blue Boy as a table mate. Sheesh!

...for fear that Y2K disruptions might lead to a shortage of antibiotics.

R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr., once wrote about a young conservative kook who was so devoted to consuming carrots (for the health benefits of beta-carotene) that he turned orange.

I think we need to distinguish between small-L libertarians (who are very wrong about many things, but are not generally idiots) and Libertarians, who seem to have a lot of real flakes in their ranks.
To: ContentiousObjector
Let me get this straight. This guy demonstrates his judgement skills by:
1. Overreacting to Y2K.
2. Treating himself with unnecessary, unproven "medicine" for a condition that did not exist.
3. Turning himself blue from overdosing on this unproven "medicine" he kept on taking for a condition that did not exist.
Do I have this right? Well, he's obviously well qualified for public office! His decision making skills are right up there with the rest of them!
If he loses he could always audition for the Blue Man Group.
To: ContentiousObjector
Well he can't be a smurf because everyone knows the smurfs were communist lol.

" Jones is one of three candidates seeking to unseat Democratic Sen. Max Baucus in November."
Max Baucus is an extremely fortunate man.
To: ContentiousObjector
He looks good in a blue suit. I'll bet he gave away all his other colors.
Seriesly ... he's warped beyond hope.
To: ContentiousObjector
He reminds me of Peter Sellers as the singing blue matador in that movie "The Bobo."
To: ContentiousObjector
"Jones is one of three candidates seeking to unseat Democratic Sen. Max Baucus in November. The others are Republican state Sen. Mike Taylor and Green Party candidate Bob Kelleher."So, we have a DemonRat Socialist/Communist, a Republican, a Green, and a Blue. Winner: Republican.

Oompa loompa doompadee doo;
I've got another puzzle for you....
To: ContentiousObjector
Haha, the Blue and Green Parties both have candidates.

I had a friend in college who was into carrots also. The palms of her hands DID turn orange.
To: RepubMommy; Polycarp
had to ping a physician and a nurse on this one.
I used to take colloidal silver and it does work; however, you know what they say, everything in MODERATION.
These freepers are so quick and whitty, like in the previous post: he is the slate. Yep, he sure looks like slate.
