Scruggs made hundreds of millions from the tobacco settlement. Now dispensing to judges with an apparent aim of influencing the outcome of particular cases. Federal and state agencies investigating.

Before it's over, the FEDs will also be checking-out the judicial & state government-related contributions from the tobacco benefiting lawyers here in Texas - betcha!

This one definitely fails the smell test and could be huge. All they need to do is flip a judge or two, and they may. Years ago in San Diego, a prominent plaintiff's attorney was convicted under RICO for gift giving to two judges before whom he had cases and success. This one seems worse. GoDOJGo.....
