On a more earthly note, I feel like the whole world is going crazy. It will get worse; I feel it in my bones. All hell will break loose within this year.

From the look of things, this looks like some meeting of a broad range of religious groups in the Middle East. I'd caution against the mistake that the seating arrangement indicates support. The last time any high ranking official (a bishop, I believe) spoke in support of the Intifada, he found himself removed from his position.
