Kathleen Weinstein is a paraplegic in a wheelchair who worked as a poll worker in Tamarac -- until Miriam Oliphant was elected.
Elections Supervisor Oliphant moved Weinstein out of Precinct 15J, where she had spent 15 years helping voters. It broke Weinstein's heart. Confined to a wheelchair since she was stricken with polio at age 5, she loved working at the polls.
"They told me that Mrs. Oliphant's mother had requested to work in that precinct, so I couldn't any longer," says Weinstein, 62.
Sure enough, Oliphant's mother, Hattie McKinzie, was assigned to the Mainlands 1 & 2 Clubhouse, earning $135 for the day.

That the last Democratic President had sex in the oval office and gave pardons to child molesters and drug dealers in exchange for payoffs to his brother.
That he gave missile technology to the Communist Chinese in exchange for campaign contributions and murdered thousands of Serbians in cold blood for no particularly good reason, this all with the full backing and approval of 50% of Americans(including 94% of black Americans).
Considering all of this, the crimes of Oliphant are small potatoes.
If she had stabbed this old woman to death, or perhaps shot her in the head and left her in a park as a suicide, perhaps this story would be given 15 or 20 seconds attention on network news.
And that would be it.
This woman in the wheelchair is lucky to be alive.
On the postive side, we're dealing with people who can't match a name to a hole on a piece of paper, and think we're so dumb we won't kick their clymers across the county if they pull the usual dirty tricks on election day. (^:

My brother and others have been preaching against automated voting for years, for just this reason. I wondered at the time of the first Broward County fiasco if it wasn't part of the dialectic process to force automated voting in all counties to make it easier to steal the vote. What a third-rate banana republic we've become.
A Bible passage came to mind about "feet running to do evil", and I decided to look it up. Their deeds do not go unnoticed, and their day of reckoning is coming...... Pro 6:12 A naughty person, a wicked man, walketh with a froward mouth. 13 He winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers; 14 Frowardness [is] in his heart, he deviseth mischief continually; he soweth discord. 15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly; suddenly shall he be broken without remedy. 16 These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
