In Georgia? I'm typing from up in the clouds - it was like Christmas came early!

Chambliss beat Cleland, which was excellent news for Georgia AND for the country, since it was a turnover from Dem to GOP...

On top of that, we have the first GOP governor since Reconstruction, and we've deposed "King Roy" Barnes!

AND, if that weren't enough, we even made GOP gains in the General Assembly, EVEN WITH the highly gerrymandered districts King Roy got pushed through!

How's Texas?

Number Uno....... but you knew that... LOL

The Gop won every executive statewide race plus all the Supreme court justices that were up and the appeals court judges, if I remember correctly. In addition the Republicans took the state House for the first time since Reconstruction with 83 of 150 seats with 7 still undecided and increased the state Senate majority to 19-12.

The much touted Democrat "dream team" composed of a black(Sen), hispanic(Gov) and anglo(LtGov) got shot down like a deer on opening morning.

So now if the water will go down things will be better.....
