Good questions....some States have all day Kindergarten, busses take and pick up kids so parents are not necessarily seen by the school, and in Pennsylvania all school supplies are supplied...... I do not know about Virginia though.....
I've got a 16 year old and an 11 year old....if I go to the grocery store and leave them home I call at least once to check on them! This story makes me ill........
For the record, this "Williamsburg" is in Kentucky. A small town of about 5,000 and home to Cumberland College. Located about ten miles north of the Tennessee line on I-75.
