HONG KONG -- Communists love slogans, so much so that one can chart the course of the People's Republic of China by its leaders' favorites: Mao Tse-tung told his followers "Unity Is Strength"; Deng Xiaoping proclaimed "To Get Rich Is Glorious." At the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party, which ended last Friday, outgoing General Secretary Jiang Zemin changed the party charter to include what he calls "The Three Represents." While this may sound like a clunky, if not empty, slogan, it may one day be recognized as a watershed reform with significant unintended consequences.

Keynsian fascist and expansionist.

Hey, it's the USA which has a $6 "Keynsian" debt. China is now the 2nd largest holder of this US national debt. Secondly, as for "expansionism," it wasn't China which stole America from the Indians.

Going from Communism back to Confucianism. Communism was a Western import that never really fit China. In discarding the dross of Marxism, China's leaders have native philosophies to turn to in designing a political system suited to China's conditions and interests.

We can finance our debt and our economy isn't being proped up by government debt and a cracking banking structure.

Secondly, as for "expansionism," it wasn't China which stole America from the Indians.
Cute, leftist answer. Are you paid to believe this BS, or is it ideological?
Tell that to the peoples of Inner Mongolia, Manchuria, Tibet, and East Turkestan. Please also note the expansionist wars China launched against Veitnam and India in the last 40 years.

If America could finance its debt, it wouldn't need foreigners like China to do it. Secondly, what's "leftist" about stating the historical fact that America wiped out the Indians and took the N. America continent? That's a fact. If you deny that, you're seriously ignorant. I suppose you think Americans never enslaved blacks, either. In addition, the sheer amount of land that America took from the Indians is literally about 100 times bigger than all of Tibet.

Is America planning on giving N. America back to the Indians anytime soon?

We conquered the depopulated neolithic tribes.
Life isn't fair. Just ask the natives of Formosa now a minority thanks to Han Chinese immigration.

Hey, you're the one accusing China of invading everybody. Now, when I ask you if America is going to give N. America back to the Indians anytime soon, you answer basically no, "Life isn't fair." Well, I agree with you. Life isn't fair. When America gives back N. America, that is the day maybe China will give back Tibet.
