I believe the Patriot act includes that using coercion to influence goverment policys is a violation of the act.This could include just about any protest activity is what I've heard lawyers saying.So far,I have not heard of this provision being invoked against protesters,but it could be at any time the goverment wishes to squash dissent,at least that's what I've heard.
