Would a "SEND IN YOUR SHEETS" campaign work?

According to a Chris Matthews sound bite, Robert Byrd was nicknamed 'Sheets' by House Speaker, Democrat, Tip O'Neill.

What a canvas. Make it as big as you wish. One small can of spray paint will print just about any message. Something like 'Byrd has LONG history in the KKK' would work. Take a picture of your work and post it on the net!

The sheets could be sent to the NAACP, the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, or DC.

The RATS can't hide Byrd forever. Any other ideas?

Jeez, I don't think we have any plain old white cotton sheets. Is it okay for Klansmen to be seen in flannel? How about white with Hunter green stripes?

Wait, my daughter has Elmo sheets - can a Klansman wear Elmo patterns?

Make it simple: send in a white blank sheet ... of paper.

Hire a PR firm (Lizzie Grubman is available) to get max publicity for the campaign ... and to be sure everyone understands the reference.

How about FReeping the local Jefferson-Jackson Day Dinner to point out that it honors a slave owner and the man responsible for the "Trail of Tears"?

I'm gonna keep this idea in mind for the next time Byrd comes to town - will hang spray-painted sheet banners at all the I-81 overpasses!

Attacking Republicans as racists is a straw dog argument presented by Democrats. They don't give a rats-ass about the plight of blacks, except as something to whip Repub.s with.

It is the height of insincerity. They know it, the press knows it, and we know it. What they do is wrong, and reflects a total lack of character.

To adopt the same behavior, and excuse it because: "Oh yea!! Well...they did it first" is simply childish. To advocate that others join you in this is despicable.

Behavior should be guided by ones own morals and judgements; not on the behaviors of others.

I have been thinking about this, what needs to be done is they need to go to every politician who has not denounced Hollings or Byrd.

What happens then is the Politicans get what his happening. Now my will go to Burbin Fitzgerald and Weller, That is my senators and my Congress man, ask them to forward them to byrd or Hollings.

I think we should hang PLAIN sheets from things. Like the "tie a yellow ribbon" thing. No paint, just sheets.Tie them good and tight good and I'll bet they stay up longer than a painted one with slogans.I'd be interested how the leftist media would take to the VRWC protesting racism.Do it nation wide ( not by yourself, that would take too long).
