You're kidding, right? Did they really go after Hooters for men's sake? I regret that I am not kidding.

Is that Civil Rights Commission seat still open? Let him atone over there while he is in the Senate. He can moonlight. I don't want him pushing any of his "pandering" bills through any Senate committee.

"Committee Chairmmanship for Homeland Security by voice acclimation vote? "
Thats not a congressional position its an executive one and its a secretary, not chairmanship title.

"Who is to say that you are not a RINO if I am more conservative than you are?"
To me, a RINO and a democr@p could be tossed in a bag, shaken up, and when they tumble out, the differences aren't very discernable. I humbly say that I possess, in contemporary terms, enough extra "right" chromosomes that I fall solidly into the conservative column, to the right even of the Republican Party. And proud of it I might add. BTW, a very, very Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Agree on your main thesis!
A Merry Christmas to you and yours as well!

That Hooters vs. the EEOC example is outrageous. Thanks for sharing it.

Let's hope this puts paid to the whole sorry episode. Delighted to hear Lott did the honorable thing before any more damage was done to his party. He should be thanked for that, even though the heat was on.

"I wonder what Chafee's next statement will be."And I wonder what Pelosi's next statement will be...
Incoming House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi of California said that Lott's stepping down was an "important step" but that Republicans still needed to do more to address the issue of race.
I think she should set a shining example for all of us by calling for censure of Robert Byrd for using the N-word. It also wouldn't hurt if he went on BET to apologize for his past recruiting for the KKK. And where is Feinstein? Why isn't she calling Byrd's use of the N-word "reprehensible?" I thought that was her favorite word.

Leave it to the RATS!
I believe that we need to segregate the communists in America from the rest of us. Maybe the Appalachian Zone (sorry EV). Put up a big wall and make them live off what they produce and trade with Free America. Issue visas only on the rarest of occasions. I would be tolerant of this brand of segregation. < /tonguefromcheek..sortof > LOL!
