By now I am sure you are all familiar with the statement that Senator Patty Murray, the Democrat Senator from Washington State, made which was praising Osama bin Laden. There is an article that was posted today which showed that now the TalibanOnline has put the article from WorldNetDaily on their website.

It is disgusting that a U.S. Senator would give "aid and comfort" to the enemy by making such a foolish statement. That the enemy has put it up on their website is a good illustration why the old rule that criticism of the President (and etc.) stops at the borders. ONLY Liberal Democrats don't seem to honor that unwritten rule of honor anymore. In fact, the Liberal Democrats don't seem to have any honor about a lot of things. But that's another subject.

SEATTLE – Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., told a group of high-school students in her state that the U.S. should adopt Osama bin Laden's nation-building tactics.

"We've got to ask, why is this man so popular around the world?" said Murray, according to the Vancouver Columbian newspaper. "Why are people so supportive of him in many countries that are riddled with poverty?"



The second-term senator, who faces re-election in 2004, was responding to questions from world history students and student government leaders at Columbia River High School in Vancouver, Wash., on Wednesday.

Murray said, according to the Vancouver paper, that bin Laden has been "out in these countries for decades, building schools, building roads, building infrastructure, building day care facilities, building health care facilities, and the people are extremely grateful. We haven't done that."

"How would they look at us today if we had been there helping them with some of that rather than just being the people who are going to bomb in Iraq and go to Afghanistan?" Murray asked.

Murray, chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in the 107th Congress, voted against an October Senate resolution – passed by a 77-23 margin – that gives President Bush authority to use military force against Saddam Hussein's regime.

Murray concluded the session with students by challenging them to consider alternatives to war, the Columbian reported. She said that while building up Third World nations is costly, war is expensive too.

"Your generation ought to be thinking about whether we should be better neighbors out in other countries so that they have a different vision of us," said Murray. "It is a debate I think we ought to have."

(The rest of the story trie's to put down Osama with the same old rubbish and a thought, is this why the Kuffar in Afghanistan are trying to set bases of the so called reconstruction phase, thinking if they look like helping the Afghan's that they might start to like them or something? Thanks Meek. Here's my letter:

Senator Murray,

You hold a very respected position in the United States Government. The public statements that you made regarding Usama bin Laden are utterly reprehensible for someone who is a national leader representing the United States of America. You are undermining the cause of the war against terrorism by offering aid and comfort to the sworn emenies of this nation.

Senator Lott, in the light of far more inocuous statements than yours, did an honorable thing by relinquishing his leadership post for the good of the country. Are you willing to make any sacrifice for the good of this country? My guess is that you aren't. I am suggesting that for the good of this country, and the success of the war on terrorism, that you resign your seat in the US Senate. At the very least, you must stop making statements that offer aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States of America while we are at war with that sworn enemy.

I am a verteran, and have made considerable sacrifice for my country. I resent anyone who would, in essence, blame America for any situation - and especially a U.S. war against an orginization dedicated to the elimination of our way of life. Please accept this as a very strong disapproval of your comments and attitudes toward this very real threat to our way of life and our freedom.

WA state's governor is Gary Locke. He is Chinese. Thus, with a socialist governor, we are simply a provence of Communist China and the demos. We have two socialist senators, Murray and Maria Can't-do-it-very-well and of course, Bagdaddy Jim. We are just so fortunate here in the People's Republic to have leadership such as this! That is why my wife and I are going to Wyoming, to excape communism and live in freedom. Locke has never met any kind of tax that he could not slobber over. He'd rather screw the people of the state than forget to kiss Klinton or Algore's fat butts. He is a Klinton butt kisser expert. When those two came here, Locke ran after them like a little puppy.
