I guess you don't see the difference between the two groups. Heston et al speak when asked...the others hate Bush and take their talking points, working orders, from Clinton. Sheen believes that Americans think he is God and hopes he can put a Democrat back into office, all the while he is trashing America and our military in the process. The petition is a tool that allows Americans to speak back.

Have you ever heard Heston or Nugent use the same type of rhetoric? Sarandon and friends lie and make it personal. Not even Bush Sr. bashed Clinton. He had class. Sarandon and Penn do not, they don't even know what they're talking about.

You people simply don't understand the issues!! The celebritiy lefties crave attention of ANY kind, good or bad. Folks putting a petition together just tells them that their efforts are bearing fruit and that they've identified the 6000 hard core right wingers. This will cause them to work harder.

The only appraoch is to simply ignore these neo-commies. Especially, don't pay to see their movies!! Don't vote for them or against them in polls, don't recognize their names or their works.

It is even counter productive to TELL their superiors/sponsers that you are withholding your business because of what ____ said. That enables him to say "Yes, they disagree with me, but they watch," and puts you in the position of either having to say "Yes, I watched (the basic objective>, or "No, I didn't watch, but based my opinion on [whatever]."

If Steve Penn ever makes another movie after his trip to give Saddam a lewiniski, we should simply avoid seeing it (no matter how glowing the reviews of the fairy/leftist experts). Smply ignore it and him and advance the things we think important, not knock the things he thinks are important.

I've got the list of the Hollywood Wobblies and I know who not to spend money watching. If I watch one of their TV shows I will make sure I tape it so I can fast foward through the commercials.

No. The difference is that Nugent *works* for the NRA and other causes he believes in and actually writes books encouraging the slaughtering and eating of cute furry animals.

He doesn't just show up at rallies to lend his celebrity to the cause of the month. He is prepared to walk the walk.

And he isn't a BS diva telling the proles to set their airconditioners to 80 degrees to conserve power (so she can keep *her* homes at a cryogenic low 60s).
