- Don't be a dope. It should NOT be legal. Evidently you think all drugs should be legal so as many young people as possible will get hooked and won't re-produce. I'm trying to think of anything more inhumane, but I'm having trouble coming up with anything. Perhaps if I was in a pot-induced stupor it would all make sense.
Perhaps he can be quoted by a public service TV ad of the Ad Council, and then an announcer would say at the end: "Why do you think they call it dope?" ;) Interestingly, the word 'dope' is related to 'dopant' and is used in crystaline laser technology.
