Since you are interested in the topic, as we all are, the book The Threatening Storm by Kenneth Pollack is an excellent read and widely supports the facts you have written here. Pollack is previous CIA agent who is one of three who advised that Hussein would invade Kuwait, at a time all others were saying he would not.
