I think it would be great if FR could fund a legal arm to combat the ACLU. America has won many great battles in the field, but we lose every day in the courtroom when we let ninnies like these purloin our hard-fought freedoms.
But communist though they are, they know how to play the system, and they have an army of lawyers. Send a lawyer to fight one.

I wonder if Fraulein Slayton is aware of the absolute wackos of the IndyMedia in her own back yard? Reckon she could mention the shock that "it happened at all" concerning the killer a couple of months ago?

Landmark Legal is pretty close to what you say. Go over and check out their sight, it is run by the greatone, Mark Levin, who happens to be a lurker.

Crystal-Clear Decision: Ten Commandments Part of American History

shows the tide is turning against the ACLU.

you said "I think it would be great if FR could fund a legal arm to combat the ACLU..."
You might be interested in taking a look at this org... it does a bit to counter some of ACLU's stuff :) It's the Criminal Justice Legal Foundation, (
http://www.cjlf.org/index.html)
Here's a quote from their site "While there are multi-million dollar organizations operating nationally to protect the civil liberties of the criminally accused, CJLF is the only public interest law foundation in this nation working fulltime to restore law enforcement's ability to assure that crime does not pay."
