Earlier, when AFHE tried to get the legislature to approve a proclamation, House Democrats balked, with one saying openly that he had real concerns about parents educating their children! I doubt it. 'Real concerns' about homeschooling parents 'depriving' the school districts of ADA money....'real concerns' that the politically correct indoctrination in the government schools' classrooms will not be forced upon homeschooling students.....'real concerns' that homeschooling students quite possibly will grow up NOT being government-worshipping statists....all these things I'd believe.
But 'real concerns' about parents educating their own? Right.

Pretty strange considering that the Republicans have a wide majority. I think that Janet knows that she will never get any further restrictions on homeschoolers as long as the Republicans have a solid majority. However, watch out for Tom Horne, Supt. of Public Instruction who FAVORS more control over homeschoolers.

According the 'RATS, homeschooling has a negative impact on the shareholders of public education. Looks like liberals are going to try to blame homeschoolers for budget deficits.
