OMG a pending war and a comet too! The Nostradamus people are wetting their pants even as we speak. I better listen to George Noory tonight so I know what to do ;)

What Nostradamus forsaw for the years following 2000 is not reassuring. A giant comet is hurtling toward Earth and a great war will threaten the world as we know it.

Here Nostradamus advises of the approach of a great comet. It will pass low over southern France, raining debris on the Earth below for three nights. But the nucleus of the comet is headed for the Aegean area after flashing directly over Rome.

Space Ship Samarobryn

Very great famine through pestiferous wave, through
long rain the length of the arctic pole. Samarobryn
one hundred leagues from the hemisphere, they will
live without law, exempt from politics. Q VI:5

The dust cloud from the explosion of Nostradamus' comet will have grievous effects throughout the Northern Hemisphere ("the length of the arctic pole"). The burst spews vast areas with carbon dust, precipitating heavy carbon-laden rains and attendant crop failures. The second half of the verse is fascinating since it seems to describe a space tug -- the only thing that would be located a hundred leagues (about 300 miles) from the hemisphere. "Samarobryn" is some sort of coded designation, maybe an acronym. This space vehicle -- no doubt Russo-American -- is in orbit when the comet hits. The occupants, of course, would be insulated from earthly politics.
