Yes. Not exactly where it is and as it is, but it would exist.

Definitely yes. The Balfour Declaration and other British government documents from the 1910s and 1920s made it clear that they supported a Jewish state in what is now Israel.

Yes, for sure. It may have come about a bit later than 1948 were it not for The Holocaust, however.

A Jewish state might have existed a bit earlier, if not for Hitler.

It would have been insane for Jews to fight the British during WWII. But if there had been no WWII, who knows?
