I wasn't too thrilled with the Yao/"yo" ad either!

I know we have ignorant people like that in NYC...

but they rarely get a job like that.

Most business' in NYC want to give a good account of the city!!

And for the record, we are very nice in NYC, we are just in a hurry all the time!!

If I stopped to say hi/hello/how are you to everyone I passed it would take me 3 months to get home at night!!

It is a time thing, if you are ever really stuck a New Yorker will hook you up!!

Hey Nitro, I didn't even think of NY when I saw the commercial. I did, however, think it was a slam on folks who talk that kind of slang. I kept thinking how important it is to be able to speak proper English!
