WOW! This should be INTERESTING! Ron Silver isn't a guest on CNN's Crossfire Tonight---He is one of the HOSTS. Plus he is sitting in Smucker Carlson's seat and will be debating The Forehead!

Is Silver supporting Bush just on Iraq or is he actually becoming a conservative? This show tonight might provide some answers.

I thought Silver used to be a red diaper baby. In any event, it's nice.

Damn, Silver just set that guy back on his rear. He wouldn't even respond on point. I didn't realize this show had a clapping audience no. Naturally they're all clapping in support of the leftist ideology.
On this topic, Silver is not only rock solid, he sounds as if he could lead the way. Bravo!

So was I.....not born that way thankfully. I had great folks.
I made my own red diaper from about ages 15-22....a long long time ago.
Seriously, I think this separates(in Hollywood) run of the mill liberals like Speilberg and Hanks for example from nutjobs like Streisand, Penn, and Harrelson.
I'm always happy to see a liberal with common sense and decency on this issue...it gives me hope that something good may come out of all this down the road.
I have 2 of Horowitz's books. One from a local signing. He understands the true left better than any talking head around.
Regards.

Many of us wore red shorts, if briefly, years ago. Few people know that Thomas Sowel graduated from PhD school an avowed Marxist. He was sent to Puerto Rico to gather data to prove that increasing min wages would not cost jobs. After extensive research he concluded just the opposite and began to question his ecconomic fundamentals.
The rest, as they say, is history!

Amazing. Whenever I get dejected with all the liberal left and Hollyweird attacking our president, I'm comforted by the fact that some people I have witnessed preaching for the left (Dennis Miller and Ron Silver) are now supporting our president from clear, well-derived opinions. If he can draw support (and conversions?) from these individuals, I truly believe there's hope.

On Hannity last night or the night before, I'm sure he said he was still liberal on social issues, but was a hawk on this.
To: PJ-Comix
Sorry, but I still don't trust him.
He was (& maybe still is) a solid 'Friend of Bill'....and I'm not convinced he's changed his stripes......
...he's a very good actor....very good.

I don't know Ron Silver.
You can look him up at imdb.com, and excellent reference site for movies and actors.
He played Alan Dershowitz in the movie about Claus Von Bulow.

There's a photo of him
here at a fan website.

Yes...I believe he was a big Klintoon supporter.
If he can stifle that a bit and get on board now then more power to him.

you don't have to trust him, just welcome his input as a fair-minded lefty.
Look, the easy thing for him to do would be to go with the flow like most of the unthoughtful left. Ronald Reagan had it correct when he said that somebody who was 80% my friend was still my friend.
If we exclude these lefties when they start drifting right, we'll stay the same size or shrink--do ya really want that?

Tammy Bruce still calls herself a classic liberal but I think she has become one of the best conservative writers around (yes I know she is gay). Read her latest at Newsmax...amazing.
