A few Iraqis contacted in Baghdad said they were aware of "Information Radio" but none said they listen to it. Probably because that would collect a bullet to the head - and to those of the family.

When we shut down Saddam ability to speak to his people..i.e...no TV or radio broadcasts....then the end is near.

Seems to me that playing Celine Dion will just encourage them to fight harder out of fear the USO would bring her to Iraq to play a concert if they lose.

Yes.
Jazzy Jeff decided to one-up Michael Jackson and not only became a white man, he became an old, bald, white man.
I wonder how good the reception could be if the transmitter is always moving? Any thoughts?

Commando Solo is such a great name, I also like the name Operation Atlas being used in NY. Although, they should get James Earl Jones to broadcast messages out of Commando Solo.........

A few good selections -
Life During Wartime - Talking Heads
Holidays in the Sun - Sex Pistols
This is Radio Clash - The Clash
The Final Countdown - Europe
And for more happy, upbeat stuff -
Don't Look Back - Boston Hot, Hot, Hot! - Buster Poindexter
Ok, any other ideas?
