Seems to me that there is something we are missing, or at least something he doesn't want us to discover. Doug Thompson says that he has pulled six Capitol Hill Blue articles because they were based on Wilkinson as a source.
Do you know what those six articles were? Did any of them appear on FreeRepublic? (They might still be in Google's cache too, although they'll undoubtedly disappear soon.)
Knowing what disinformation or information Wilkinson fed Thompson earlier could be quite revealing.
[Maybe someone has already posted what the six stories were? The threads on this topic are long, and I could easily have missed it.]

Excellent question. It would be interesting to see the content of those six articles.

I don't believe anyone can know as he didn't tell and was having them deleted.Only a real long time fan or disciple who saved them could probably do the time consuming job of figuring it out. What's with the lawyer bit, though? It's hard to sue for libel here.

Thanks for remembering me!
Wilkinson...the guy who believed the fellow spinning all his tales of derring-do?
Shermy rule - any one, especially in a bar, who brags they were in "Navy Seals" "Rangers" etc. - wasn't.
