[history]
MEXICO CITY (AP) - Mexico's Senate has passed a measure aimed at eliminating deadlines for Mexicans who live abroad to regain their Mexican citizenship, and allow them to continue to apply indefinitely for dual nationality.
A 1998 constitutional amendment allowed five years for Mexicans who had adopted another country's citizenship to apply to regain their Mexican passports, as dual nationals. That five-year deadline expired March 20, and only 67,000 people had applied.

It's pretty obvious why that leech of a nation is doing this. Foreign nationals who do this should be stripped of their U.S. citizenship. Those devious Mexican officials are up to no good, as usual.

Last year Mexican-"Americans" sent $10 billion back to Mexico.

A good number of those barnacles are illegal aliens, too. Anyone who thinks those despicable sycophants are a boon to the economy should take a look at California and Arizona. Or Mexico, for that matter. California has more illegals than any other state. It should be rolling in dough, wouldn't you think?

Foreign nationals who do this should be stripped of their U.S. citizenship.Jews. Irish, etc., as well? Dual citizenship is not uncommon.

All of 'em.

There is an easy solution to this: Zero immigration from nations that offer dual citizenship. Not just Mexico, but Canada, Switzerland, etc.
The scam would stop in a hurry.

We need to pass a law that dual citzenship can not be held here. How do you have a nation with such divided loyalities?

Official citizenship in some country other than Mexico will be needed in order to claim this benefit. A Mexican illegally residing in the USA is not going to meet this condition, unless he has wangled citizenship in yet some other country (where, Canada?)

Thanks for another ping.
Mexico is doing everything they can think of, to suck as much as possible out of the USA.
