For those here on FR following the series, Lightning Source turned the PDF original/master around very quickly and the Adobe Reader version of the title is now already available for those so interested.
I will post another thread when the printed version of the book becomes available. I received a printed proof on Tuesday and approved it, so as soon as the retailers (Amazon, etc.) get some in stock and get their SKU set-up, it will be available. Usually a couple of weeks.
Thanks, and God bless our troops in their efforts to quickly overcome the facsist Ba'ath Saddamite regime and liberate the Iraqi people.

You're welcome. I just keep pluggin' along.
After reviewing and approving the proof of the printed book on Tuesday PM, I took off with one of my sons and headed into the moutnains. Yesterday and today we enjoyed some great scenery, wonderful camping and hiking and a lot of peace and quiet.
I came back this evening to find the eBook version already available on Amazon and thought I would get the info out.
Best regards, and continued faith and prayers for the troops.

Adobe Sucks! Their stupid PDF reader crashes my computer constantly!
I hereby petition to officially add them and their sucky, Blue Screen generating "Acrobat" to the "Axis of Evil!"
(The only thing they ever made that was worthwhile was Photoshop.. )

Thank you again for your continued wishes for success ... as I have said, I have already been blessed with "success" beyond my imagination on this project, but am certainly open to more of the same.
Best Fregards.

Very sorry you have had that experience. It works very well on my computer, a Pentium 800Mhz running 382Mb of RAM and on Windows 98 SE.
This didn't happen with one of my books did it?
Fremail and let me know if it did.
Otherwise, the Microsoft Reader version will be out in a few weeks, and the printed version will be out in the next 2-2 1/2 weeks as well.
Best Fregards.

BTW, Adobe eBook Reader is different software than Adobe Acrobat Reader.
... and thank you very much for the wishes for success!
To: Jeff Head
Oh, no.. Not at all.
But it's a constant thing with other .pdf documents though. (I open allot of those.)
If anyone here knows of another app (like this "MS Reader" you mentioned maybe) that works with the .pdf format, please let me know.
I have re-installed. I have done everything a human can do to no avail here.

What version of Acrobat Reader are you using?
The latest version of Acrobat Reader is now 5.1 I believe and I run it fine on my machine.
Adpbe eBook Reader which is used for this eBook is different software altogether.
MSReader will ont read PDF files, it is a completely different format and is also used for eBooks exclusively.

That's what I have also..
But I will shut up about it now and not take up anymore posts with my criticizm of their products.
If anyone knows of a fix or alternate app, please FR mail me.
It would be appreciated.
