Seriously, I guess I'll explain so it doesnt look like I'm being a smart-ass:

When I was a kid, I grew up in the East Bay of Northern California. I grew up in the heyday of the Whiners and for whatever reason they irritated me to no end (still do infact). My allegiances with the Giants were pretty much set in stone since I used to freeze to death at Candlecrap Park during baseball season. But I didnt have a football team I could call my own.

So my uncle who was living in Los Angeles at the time took me to a Raiders preseason game. I'm not sure what is was about the Raiders, the Silver and Black, the motivational mantras of "Just Win Baby!" and "Committment to Excellence", or that I had the opportunity to annoy other football fans by sporting Raider colors, I was hooked. And I've been ever since.

Anyway, as Dennis Miller says, "Its just my opinion. I could be wrong".
