"The Muslim nations have become experts at using the media..."

...with the help from most of the Western media...

...who want to control, or failing that, destroy capitalism and democracy and set themselves up to give the rest of us, 'kindly guidance'

challenge the policy

When our guys are fighting and are being shot at, its not time to challenge the policy. The debate is over. Its only been 10 days and they should STFU. These people are lying to us and to themselves when they say they support the troops. Its a lie. They are not patriotic either.

Look for the leftist press to turn a wise decison to adapt the plan according to the situation on the ground into some kind of defeat for the coalition.

The plan was flexible and is proceeding ahead in an amazingly sucessful fashion.

Waiting a couple of weeks for another couple of divisions to come in seems like a sensible thing to do, the air war won't stop and time is on our side.

The leftist/Islamic alliance and their friends in the liberal media are mounting a desperate, last ditch effort to defeat the USA.

They will fail.

EXACTLY. What part of this don't the media mouthpieces understand?

The media is not just a whore, the media is a murderous whore. Presstitution kills.

As has Chris Ruddy. Maybe Arnett can join the staff of Newsmax.

I have a plan I got in an email today. It's probably been around, but this is the first I've seen it so here it is:

1) We will apologize to the world for our interference in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini and the rest of them 'good old boys'. We will never "interfere" again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Iraq, Kuwait, Kosovo, Germany, South Korea and the Philippines. They don't want us there. Instead, we would station our troops at our borders. No more sneaking through holes in the fence.

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave. We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of who or where they are. France would welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit. No one from a terrorist nation would be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself, don't hide here. Asylum would not ever be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers.

5) No "students" over age 21. The older ones are the bombers. If they don't attend classes, they get a "D" and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self sufficient energy wise. This will include developing non polluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while.

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else.

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not "interfere". They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides' most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if any anyway.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an island some place. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, it would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us "Ugly Americans" any longer.

There...sound like a plan?

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court."

The chance that the Iraqis might be buying the misinformation Arnett is feeding them, both about the success of the military operation and the determination and support of the American public....might end up actually helping us.

If Arnett is not guilty of treason, I don't know who is...

This is not "free speech" when it's on TV in the enemy country. Can't the state department pull his passport?

Extremely well-said. When oh when will it happen?

Tell the Iraqi Republican Guard who got pounded by F16's in Baghdad today that the US has underestimated Iraqi bravery.
Arnett , isn't that a French name ?

In the interview, Arnett said reports from Baghdad on civilians being killed are being shown in the United States, and "it helps those who oppose the war when you challenge the policy to develop their arguments."

Shouldn't that be against the Geneva Convention just like showing solders bodies? What's the difference?
