I've suspected for some time that we've known for a while that Saddam was worm food, but we didn't tell because then the pain-in-the-ass U.S. United Nations, French and Germans, would really put on the pressure to get us out of Iraq.

We don't KNOW that he's "worm food," though we might suspect it.
This question has been answered multiple times by Sec. Rumsfeld: The death of one man is NOT the death of the regime (obviously). We are after displacing this regime, not killing one guy.
