Here's just a little photo to keep in mind when you hear someone going on (and on) about "American brutality" yada, yada, yada, in Iraq.

Heartless and cruel US soldiers... why are they making this patient hold his own IV solution? (sarcasm)

I can hear the leftists now - "of course they saved his life, how they oppress and victimize him if he dies?"...

Yes, 70% + of the wounded in US field hospitals are Iraqi.
I watched CNN save a left-for-dead Iraqi officer the other night.
I was really touched by a short video of a US soldier with a leg wound last night. He had on American Flag boxer shorts. Probably not US Army issue.

I've been away from t.v. and the internet for weeks on a book tour. Can somebody tell me where to go to find the photo of the young medical corpsman holding the Iraqui boy? Thanks.

For the most part you have to purchase your own underwear, boots, sox, and just about everything else when you're in the army. The Tshirts are regulation khaki but the skivvies can be your choice.

I saw the CNN piece the other night. Absolutely enthralling, made me even more proud (if that's possible!) of our men and women.

"Imperialist Zionist American aggressors force wounded Iraqi hostage, kidnapped during the retreat from Saddam International Airport, to administer his own medical treatment prior to brutal interrogation. The International Committee of the Red Cross has filed a complaint with the United States alleging that, by photographing the prisoner, the US is exposing him to humiliation in violation of the Geneva Conventions."

I can just imagine some poor Iraqi mother reading the newspaper, see that picture and saying "Oh my Allah, that's my son, Abdul. I'd know those feet anywhere"!
