Saddam Hussein's former mouthpiece met privately with Secretary-General Kofi Annan and several Arab diplomats in a bid to figure out his country's international standing - and his own.

I think it was reported on Batchelor and Alexander last night that Al-Douri is flying first-class on Air France.
