That is my favorite picure too. It brings a smile and a tear at the same time.

Makes me proud to be an American where we have taken out a brutal Hitler before he could really go ape. I like to see this war named the "Iraqi Liberation" or "The Liberation of Iraq" because that's what we've done for millions of Iraqi's.

Saddam wanted Iraq to be a secular country, though most people there are Muslim but they didn't have to be if they didn't want to be; there may be some Christians and agnostics there too. It's not like Iran where the women have to wear the chadors (sp), they were free to dress as they wanted, but since most people there are Muslims, most of the women do cover up. Basically it's cultural, not enforced.

Tank Commander Staff Sgt. Terry Brake from Somerset, KY., listens patiently as college student Sama Samira, 21, says that U.S. troops have hurt Iraq by invading it and creating chaos in the streets. She said she supported Saddam Hussein and refused to accept that his government had been toppled.

Thought bubble: "Geez Louise, I come all this way just to run into my freakin' ol' lady." Yes dear. Yes, dear. Yes, you're right. Uh huh. Yes dear...

Gee; Have the same people who run our (American) institutions of higher indoctrination (Colleges, Univeristies) also been running the equivalent institutions over there in Iraq?

Oh; wait...; I suppose they have been, haven't they?

Will they continue to mould young minds like this both at home and abroad?
Gee; I dunno.

Would anyone like to venture a guess?

It's like every rough place in the world. The fairest skinned are the protected class. The progressive class. They are now understandably pissed. It's no different than South Africa or Israel or Cuba.
