Wonder how fast and furious the good scripts will come to them now? Although what Hollywarped does best is resurrect the careers of people in "their club." Like they awarded an Oscar to pervert pedophile Roman Polanski who drugged and raped a 13-year old.

Just the Facts

1. Speaking through its president, the Hall of Fame has the right to free speech and free association.

2. After acknowledging that he should have worded his letter more carefully Dale Petroskey clarified in a public statement that the Hall of Fame withdrew it's invitation -- invitation identifies freedom of association -- because the Hall of Fame chooses not to risk becoming a political stage or platform for political issues. Which Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon have used many similar opportunities to make political statements.

3. Dale Petroskey speaking for the Hall of Fame clarified any misunderstanding the media may have had in regards to why the Hall of Fame withdrew it's invitations to Robbins and Sarandon.

4. The New York Times chose, on behalf of it's senior editor and publisher to disregard the clarification and continued to print their own misunderstanding of the issue.

5. The New York Times, on behalf of its senior editor and publisher chose to misrepresent the Hall of Fame and its president Dale Petroskey.

6. What other newspapers and media outlets speaking on behalf of their senior editors and publishers are committing the same deception by choice to omit key information from the originating source--Dale Petroskey and the Hall of Fame?

The Baseball HOF got negative calls regarding the Susan Sarandon HOF appearance. The appearance was cancelled. The story broke because bit player Tim Robbins was upset that he was no longer "invited" to the Hall. Would the Hall have turned Mr. Robbins and his bastard children away if they had paid for admission tickets and stood quietly with the commoners?

Susan Sarrandon was supposed to speak at a United Way fundraising dinner April 11th but her appearance was cancelled because of negative calls prior to the event.

Why didn't that cancellation get the same exposure as this HOF story? Why didn't it at least get mentioned in the HOF stories?

Methinks that they've been dropped from a number of events and are going stir crazy; this was just the best event to act out about.

All of them, of course

They all make errors. Some make far more errors than others. Some make far fewer errors than others. The difference is that there actually are a few that when make it a point to correct their errors when the deem the error is in fact an error. Keep in mind that what some or many people consider to be an error is not an error and competent news outlets know the difference. It seems that there will always be a few readers that think some aspect of a news story is in error.

Leaning far left gives a biased perspective that those in the center appear as though they're on the right and that those on the right are over the edge. The same goes for people on the right as they look through the center toward the left.

The rarest of the rare are the the few that stand above -- neither left, right or center -- and see the "stage" below for what it is, the lesser of evils always begets evil. Aside from a few hard-copy financial newsletters, they exist almost exclusively on the Internet. Though bits and pieces of their work is occasionally republished off line.

Those precious few are part of Cassandra's Copernican Revolution.

Of course, they've been dropped from public events. The thing is that Hollywarped has an obsession with resurrecting their fallen comrades - members of "the club." If you are a member of "the club" you cannnot be allowed to fail. Watch them resurrect petty thief Winona Ryder - a key member of "the club."

As I said above, Hollyweirdos gave convicted pervert pedophile Roman Polanski an Oscar.

They are planning now how to get susanandtim off the hook. Big Budget pic for them in the offing I would say. Probably a patriotic theme as well....to rub it in our faces.

I believe that:

1. All sides of all issues have a right to expression.

2. As John Q. Baseball fan, it pains me that MY game is being politicized. After he got some heat for the potential that existed for Robbins and Sarandon to politicize the ceremony, Petroskey could have simply told them that he's feeling some heat and ask if it would be possible to keep this as a celebration of a movie and nothing else. They would have obliged and at most, it would have been a little blip on Sportscenter. This whole thing is a frickin' joke.

Also, why is it that the Dixie Chicks make stupid and ignorant remarks and nobody can stop talking about it, but then when they apologize, nobody talks about that?

On a higher lever, why does anybody give a frog's fat ass what celebrities say? I think there are a lot of people looking for scape goats to shit on because they don't know how to think for themselves. I'm for our policy in the Middle East, but I don't need Sean Hannity to validate my opinion. I don't know why others need to hate Hollywood types in order to validate their own opinions either. How about just letting them have their view and ignore them? Are you threatened that they have a bully pulpit to speak from? Don't be, most folks with a forum like that will eventually apply mustard to their foot anyway.
