I love to watch them squirm.
Russell Simmons and some Rabbi were on O Reilley last night squirming away.

There are more important things than, and many alternatives to, 90 minutes of entertainment featuring him.
Count me and my family among those that will not be supporting TR in any way.

Bump!
Just finished listening to the replay of his speach. Boy is he pissed! He ain't never seen anything like the general pro-American attitude thats out there (and here at FR) before and can't cope with it.

Ugh. I think I'd rather see a photo of Klintoon. Every time I picture Robbins in my mind, I see either a cockroach or a bubonic rat. He is so full of hatred and bitterness he must have poison flowing through his veins. I saw a clip of his speech on Fox, and it turned my stomach. He should be treated as toxic waste. Remember when his character in Shawshank swam through raw sewage to escape? Robbins is raw sewage. What a virulent, anti-American degenerate.

Heh, whoa...I'm not really "actively" boycotting, but I gotta say, obviously these guys are feeling the heat. I see a veritable mob forming outside the Ivory Towers. :p
I don't think Robbins did anything but hurt himself today. If actors could just learn to stick to acting, and, if they have to speak out, learn some manners.
These guys are starting to sound positively desperate. Muhahahahah...

You grasp the beauty of the First Amendment while Robbins miscontrues it. Robbins and his ilk misconstrue it because they are elitists who want to turn this country into a totalitarian regime like Iraq used to be. In such a regime, only the elites would have the right to free speech, while the unwashed masses would be silenced. Robbins and his self-annointed colleagues truly believe that only they have the right to speak out, and they are enraged when the peons not only dare to speak out as well, but actually disagree with them. They want to speak out with impunity, even when they spew pure hatred and lies, and they wish those who counter them with the truth could be jailed.

Oh good Lord! Tim is bringing up the "50,000 uncounted black votes in Florida" that suspiciously allowed Bush to elected.

You credit Robbins & others who act out of pure ignore like this with far too much intelligence. Simplify: All they want is power. To get it, they will whine, scream, and blunder stupidly over anyone who stands in their way. They are much like...France.

"I am sorry that you have chosen to use baseball and your position at the Hall of Fame to make a political statement." And I'm sorry, Tim Robbins, that YOU have chosen to use your celebrity and position in the entertainment business to make a political statement.

Will their whining hypocracy ever end?? Only when they are no longer breathing. They are damaged both mentally and spiritually, and beyond repair.

Indeed. Their ideology now seems to consist of solely of criticizing other people's ideologies. They have no ideas of their own to offer.

Geez, he doesn't like having his tail stuck in the door, does he? Poor Tim, he's on the losing end of this debate. All the great debaters know when its time to shut up and concede. Apparently he hasn't figured this out yet. As far as I'm concerned, he has shown a great deal of disrespect for my husband and two sons who are serving with pride. Plus he's totally pi**ed me off.
