BTW, I'm shocked how the media totally fails to ask Iraqis what they think about the French, Germans, Russians and the "world." Also about the UN. Yeah. This might upset their propaganda.

Could it be that he's saying these things at the CIA's instruction to boost his popularity with the citizensThats it, I just hope the US govt follows through and installs him as interim guy. The Shiite clergy are scary and if that sheik (Hawala?) in Iran was installed, disastrous results would result. He's the only guy (a Shiite) who could run this country in the short term, aside from us.

I am very leery of this guy, too.
And what does that mean, "contender?"
I thought he already said he wasn't running for anything!

I am very leery of this guy, too. Who are the alternatives? Nobody likes a vacuum. The clergy here are like the clergy in Iran and with 70% majority, they probably can get a "mandate" to put in an Islamic dictatorship. Not a good thing.
To: Nonstatist
Absolutely NOT a good thing.
