Let's take a different point of view on this stupidity of Mr. Robbins: Standing up and making a statement that runs contrary to popular opinion has always meant that you may suffer the "slings and arrows of outrageous fortune." Many great people have done so. Mr. Hussein didn't want to hear anyone disagree with him or bring him bad news and he dealt harshly with those who did. Is that what Mr. Robbins wants for America? Since Mr. Robbins thinks he's making just such an unpopular statement, he must be willing to let it stand the test of time and scrutiny. Even our president must do the same and surely Mr. Robbins is not above Mr. Bush.

Robbins is forgetting that he and his wife make their living off of being popular. If they say unpopular things then people in general will like them less, and they will make less money. That's the market. If they want to be lonely radicals they are free to do so, but the court of public opinion is a costly court for a celebrity to lise a case in. Maybe Susan S. should get plastic surgery on her opinions?
