I didn't know that Watson was a French Name?
About the only you get stabbed in the butt, is if you are running away.

I get it now. You have to read carefully and between the lines. The point of the story is that they consider stabbing an
LA Times reporter in the butt a
bad thing.
Glad I was able to clear that up for everybody.

Better to be stabbed in the butt while running away than to stand there and get sliced and diced. Knives are scary!

I agree. Even better is to laugh about someone ELSE (from the LA Times) getting his just deserts.
He can now put this behind him.

As a former LA Times subscriber, one of thousands, I might add, I say Three Cheers for these Iraqis.

I think the Iraqi's were merely expressing their editorial judgement about the Los Angeles Times.

Stabbed in the ass, huh? They missed piercing his brain by mere millimeters.

He's claiming these Iraqis were attacking him purely for being American. Or maybe because he was an LA Times reporter. There was a woman reporter for the Times who was an activist journalist, she was willing to fabricate an event to have something to cover.
In Miami during the Elian situation she was busted for throwing rocks at the cops during a street protest (trying to cause a riot so she could cover the cops and antiCuban protestors fighting). She later was involved in that Church of the Nativity seige.
