Exactly, Mr. Jeeves. But there's more than just this cash.
Our troops have found food from the "oil for food" program stashed in military barracks.
We found millions of dollars worth of medicines in palaces.
I believe just yesterday we found a warehouse with enough medicine and supplies to stock virtually ALL of Baghdad's hospitals for six-twelve months stashed away in this warehouse. So much for looters having made off with supposedly stocked hospitals.
Yesterday morning Eric Shawn on Fox reported about some documents for the "oil for food" program. Millions and millions of dollars going for all kinds of nonsense for beaurocrats and so on, NOT for food or aid for Iraqi citizens.
And my favorite so far: The British Labour Party member, George Galloway who led the charge against PM Blair in the anti-war movement and challenged his every move and accused Bush and Blair of the worst of motives, etc. Why there are several articles on the forum that a reporter from the UK discovered documents at Iraq's Foreign Ministry detailing secret deals with Galloway. The documents specify these deals are to be kept strictly hush-hush. Galloway was getting cuts of oil sales from--------the "oil for food" program.
Keep an eye on this payoff story, because the reporter says there were files he saw marked "Britain", "Security Council", "France" and "United States".
Do I hear $654 million?
