"I've got more than I can say grace over in Virginia."

We need a prayer thread to offset this capetbagging leftist's damage to the Commonwealth.

Amen.

He wants to be Senator, tried it before and lost, but plans to run again. I think George Allen is safe, but John Warner is getting up in years and may be Mark Warner's target in 4 years.

I should have said in 2008, as John Warner was re-elected in 2002. He was born in 1927, so come 2008, he will be 81.

Gov. Mark R. Warner has been mentioned as a possible vice presidential contender next year...

By whom? Warner is a lame duck governor mismanaging the state budget. He'll try to blame it all on the General Assembly. But it won't stick.

Jerry Kilgore will be elected Governor in 2005. Mark Warner will try to run against George Allen in 2006, but will lose. Big time.

I don't know if Dork Warner would be stupid enough to run against George Allen. George has his sights set on higher office, and he won't hesitate to squash anyone who gets in his way. :-)

I can hardly wait for Kilgore to run and win. He will be a breath of fresh air after Warner and his 'scream like a little girl" style of management.

Warner could resign and then loose the election. It might be a good thing.

Could Warner win an open Senate seat if John Warner hangs it up?

Gov. Warner is poplur among Dems and Women in VA. He has not been a good Gov but I think he still polls high. It would depend who runs against him. Tom Davis is eyeing the position but Davis is a pig.

Have you forgotten about Lt. Governor Tim Kaine?

But we have several possibilities. Congressmen Bob Goodlatte, Eric Cantor and Virgil Goode could all run strong races. Some have speculated that Jim Gilmore wants it. But I'm not sure he could even win the nomination.

Is Tim popular? In the Dem world it is all about popularity.

He has less appeal than Marky Mark. But he's also much more liberal.

This is all for naught.

Graham will be on the ticket regardless of the primary winner.
