A mere mistake is not grounds for a lawsuit.
He may be sued if he libels a particular individual by name.
He has not done so. He's very careful to not do so.
He's merely claimed that he has all manner of access into the most secretive realms of the intelligence community.
His sources are either safely anonymous (or possibly fictitious), or safely dead and buried--and thus impossible to libel.
