Some were captured by force while the ones in custody simply surrendered? Regardless, they are most likely ALL in our custody now.

Is there a difference between Captured and In Custody? "In custody" may be that he turned himself in. These guys might wind up in crowbar motel, but if we didn't execute Taliban John, they know that they're safer with us than they were wit Saddam & Sons.
