Sen. James M. Jeffords (I-Vt.) is complaining about extremism and divisiveness again.
But this time, the senator, who famously fled a Republican Party he considered intolerant, is training his sights on the Democrats -- specifically, the Democratic Leadership Council, a centrist group within the party.
The DLC recently criticized Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean as an elitist liberal, a member of the party's "McGovern-Mondale" wing," which "lost 49 states in two elections and transformed Democrats from a strong national party into a much weaker regional one."

Even the Dems are too far right for Jeffords now. Ha ha. Look for him to jump to Socialist Labor Party or maybe link up with the Shining Path. What a numbskull!!!

So, if a tree fell in the forest, and no one heard it, would it make a sound?

Sen. James M. Jeffords (I-Vt.)
What does the "(I-VT.)" mean? Incontinent?
To: speedy
If the republican party is to extreme, what the hell does he think Dean is? Dean considers himself extreme for gods sake. You realize this is basically saying that Jumping Jim, is to the Left of the heart of the democrats?

I think it's too much maple syrup at a young age leaving sap deposits in the brain. Hard to believe that Calvin Coolidge came from Vermont. That was before the Massachusetts invasion -- in fact, Coolidge went to Mass to become Governor -- talk about a different era!!

What does the "(I-VT.)" mean? Incontinent?IMHO, since 1/1/2003, or whenever the new session of Congress began, that 'I' stands for 'Irrelevant'.
Open Memo to Sen. Jeffords: I'm finally in the process of finishing my tax return tonight, and instead of putting a boot in your a$$, ala Toby Keith, all I've got to say is:
CHECK YOUR SIX, A$$HOLE!!!!

It would be interesting to see where Jeffords would land if Dean got the nomination. And wasn't Jeffords from the "McGovern-Mondale" wing of the Republican Party?

Wait...the liberal media has said for years that Judas Jefford is a "moderate". Why would a "moderate" be critizing his fellow "moderates" in the 'RAT party FOR NOT BEING LIBERAL ENOUGH?
Funny how he seems be further left than Clinton, don'tsa know.

"I" is for Independent, spelled S-o-c-i-a-l-i-s-t or C-o-m-u-n-i-s-t--take your pick.
