Herr Bloomberg will probably want to send the troops into local bars, round up any tobacco terrorists.

They act like they're acting on something more specific than we've been told.

They act like they're acting on something more specific than we've been told. You're not kidding. I walked through Times Square on my way to Penn Station and it looked combat ready. They had three Hazmat trailers, what looked like a tank painted police blue, a command center, the the bomb squad and plenty of cops (and I'm not exaggerating) -- all lined up in front of the Good Morning America building right in the heart of Times Square.

"You're not kidding. I walked through Times Square on my way to Penn Station and it looked combat ready." 40+ Years ago I used to sleep nights on the benches in Penn Station. (It was safe and legal to do so then)

"Get a room you hippie :)" I was a sub sailor in New London, Connecicut. Went to the city to party, no money for a room. I had a number of mates with me too.
