"I shall have to call Gossamer on you."
Hopefully, these missions won't have any mishaps ala NASA's previous problems.
Like the newton meters to newton feet miscalc, and the probe blowing itself to bits..

Based on NASA's past history with Mars Projects...this seems reasonable.

Thre only interesting observation ever made by Maureen Dowd is the similarity of voice characteristics of Marvin the Martian and Alan Keyes.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Since the programs appear to be in cooperation with NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, you might want to try finding info on whether they have a publicly-accessible gift shop. But I did a quick Google search and found this site:

http://www.thespacestore.com/patches1.html

Might have the stuff there. I dunno.

Hey, just what is a "Frumious Bandersnatch", anyway?
I'm almost afraid to ask.

IIRC the Apollo 10 moon landing rehearsal mission used the Peanuts comic characters as code words for the spacecraft modules.

Yup. Charlie Brown was the Command & Service Module, and Snoopy was the LEM.
